How do I rent a golf cart? 

Either call us at 843.561.9500 or place your order right here on our website! 

Where can I go on my golf cart? 

We know Folly because we are locally owned and operated! We’re happy to give you a few suggestions when you are here- but needless to say there’s plenty of parks, playgrounds, beaches, and restaurants to keep you occupied for days! 

When can I ride my golf cart rental? 

All regular golf carts may be driven during daylight hours only. 

LSV carts are registered vehicles with the SCDMV & may be driven during daylight & after sunset. 

Where do I pick up my golf cart? 

Please pick up and return golf carts at 112 E Hudson Avenue, Folly Beach SC.

Can I ride on the sidewalks or beach? 

No, all golf cart rentals on Folly Beach must be treated as if they were a car. Do not drive on side walks. Avoid large bodies of water (ocean and puddles!). Do not drive on sand dunes. Do not drive on the beach. Keep your arms and feet inside the vehicles at all times. Use hand signals. 

Where cAn i park my golf cart? 

Parking rules & guidelines… 

 •All tires must be off the road 

 •Must be the correct direction of traffic 

 •Must be parallel 

 •Do not park within 30 feet of an intersection or stop sign. 

 •Do not park in a “no parking” area 

•Golf carts must pay if you are parked in a “pay to park” area. 

 •Do not double park 2 carts side by side. Each cart must be in its own spot like a car. 

 •Do not park on beach, dunes or walkways 

 •Do not park blocking crosswalks, walkways or driveways.

• Parking on most residential streets is free. Follow local parking signs. 

Can I drink alcohol and drive? 

No. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

What is the difference between an LSV and a regular golf cart?

A regular golf cart may be driven on all residential streets on Folly Beach. These carts may not drive on Center street but can cross over Center Street. Regular golf carts may only be driven during day time hours. They may not be driven after sunset, with no exceptions. 

An LSV cart (low speed vehicle) is a registered vehicle with the SCDMV. These carts are equipped with head lights, taillights, turn signals, seat belts & full windshields. LSV carts may drive after sunset. Many families also enjoy the LSV carts for the seatbelts.
